John Meisenhelder has extensive experience providing counsel to large public and private companies and organizations on a wide range of employee benefit, executive compensation and privacy matters including the following:

  • ERISA fiduciary matters, including designing plan governance structures, plan administrative/investment committee training and litigation-avoidance strategies.
  • Matters relating to privacy laws, including HIPAA privacy, security and data breaches, gap analyses, privacy policy design/review, and Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), FACTA and Red-Flag rule compliance.
  • Plan and benefit issues unique to religious and non-religious health care systems and organizations, including church plan and state fiduciary law compliance and litigation.
