Biography

Michael Goldman counsels businesses and investors on a broad range of general corporate transactions, with a particular focus on the sports and entertainment industry and commercial transactions involving technology, software, data privacy, and intellectual property licensing.

Michael is also a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Privacy Team and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2020, summa cum laude. While in law school, Michael served as FC Cincinnati’s Manager of Player Compliance and Finance where he advised the club on salary cap strategy, player contracts, transfer contracts, roster finances, and the MLS Roster Rules and Regulations. He gained experience as a Legal Intern for FC Cincinnati as well as with a Summer Associate position with a large firm in Cincinnati.

Prior to law school, Michael worked for JP Morgan Chase & Co. as a Financial Analyst. He earned his B.B.A. from Ohio University, summa cum laude, in 2016. Michael is currently admitted to practice law in Ohio.
