Biography
Bill Patterson helps lenders, developers, investors, and business owners move real estate deals from concept to closing efficiently and with confidence. Since 2000, he has primarily focused his practice on real estate financing and commercial transactions, advising clients throughout the full lifecycle of real property matters from initial structuring through post closing issues.
Bill works with local, regional, and national banks and other financial institutions on commercial real estate transactions, helping them navigate complex financing structures, manage risk, and close on schedule. He also represents investors, entrepreneurs, developers, homebuilders, hotel operators, and nonprofit organizations.
His practice centers on commercial financing and transactional real estate work, including the negotiation and preparation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related contracts. Bill provides comprehensive representation in due diligence and closing matters, as well as post closing follow through, and advises on joint ventures, entity formations, title matters, construction agreements, and related documents.
Prior to joining KMK Law, Bill was a Shareholder with SSP Law for nearly 20 years.
