Keating Muething & Klekamp Expands Real Estate Practice with Addition of Partner William J. Patterson
Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) is excited to welcome William J. (Bill) Patterson as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Group.
“Bill brings more than 25 years of experience navigating complex real estate transactions to KMK,” said Alan Fershtman, Managing Partner of KMK Law. “His background in commercial financing and transactional real estate will further set apart our Real Estate Group and will add significant value for our clients.”
Patterson works with a broad cross-section of real estate stakeholders, from lenders, developers, and investors to local, regional and national banks. Since 2000, he has primarily focused his practice on real estate financing and commercial transactions, advising clients throughout the full lifecycle of real property matters from initial structuring through post-closing issues.
His practice centers on commercial financing and transactional real estate work, including the negotiation and preparation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related contracts. Patterson provides comprehensive representation in due diligence and closing matters, as well as post - closing follow through, and advises on joint ventures, entity formations, title matters, construction agreements, and related documents.
Prior to joining KMK Law, Patterson was a Shareholder with SSP Law for nearly 20 years. Patterson earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1999. He earned his B.A. from St. Joseph’s College in 1996, magna cum laude. Patterson is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
