Biography

Sam Hughes is an associate in the firm's Business Representation & Transactions Group, where she focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance matters.

Sam earned her law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2024, summa cum laude. While in law school, she served as a teaching assistant in civil procedure and criminal law, worked as a student clinician in the Loyola Business Law Clinic, and served as Executive Editor of the Loyola University Chicago International Law Review. Sam earned her B.A. in international studies from the University of Alabama in 2021, summa cum laude.

Sam is admitted to practice law in Illinois; she is not licensed in Ohio.
