In partnership with the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Center for Professional Development, Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL invites any first-year law student who seeks an opportunity to gain exposure to the legal profession to participate in the First-Year Law Student Case Competition. The event will be held at KMK Law on January 16–17, 2026.

This program offers students the chance to engage directly with members of the legal community through speakers, networking opportunities, team presentations judged by KMK partners, in-house counsel, and community leaders.

Who is eligible to participate?

The competition is open to any first-year law student who has encountered substantial educational or economic obstacles, or would benefit from greater exposure to the legal profession.
