Biography
Carlos Schemmel is a member of the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions Group, where he assists private and publicly held companies with a wide range of corporate transactions. Carlos assists clients with commercial contract negotiation, and also assists clients with general corporate and franchising law matters. Carlos also has experience representing escrow agents in connection with holdback escrows and indemnity escrow agreements.
Carlos earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. During law school, Carlos served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael R. Barrett of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and participated in the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic as a student advisor for startup businesses. Carlos also gained experience during law school as a KMK Summer Associate.
