Biography
Alex Beck practices in the firm’s Business Representations & Transactions Group, where he advises privately and publicly held companies on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and general corporate governance. Alex also has significant experience in franchise law, including preparing, filing, and registering franchise disclosure documents with state authorities. In addition, he regularly counsels clients on aviation-related matters, such as aircraft purchases and sales, aircraft leasing, and airport infrastructure financings.
Alex earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2017, cum laude, where he served as Articles Editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review. During law school, Alex held internships with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, The Kroger Company, and a judicial externship with Ohio Supreme Court Justice Pat DeWine.

What was your first job?
My first job was bagging groceries at a local supermarket after school. Having a job at an early age builds character and creates a good work ethic you can translate into future success.
What do you enjoy about being an attorney?
I love advising and helping others reach their goals. There is no greater fulfillment in this profession than watching clients achieve success based in part on your advice and assistance.
Where would we find you on a typical Saturday/Sunday?
My weekends include catching up on yard work and chores around the house. If I am not working or doing yard work, you can find me on the golf course or training for my next marathon.
What do you think is Cincinnati’s best-kept secret?
The food! Cincinnati has many unique and highly rated restaurants. While I have my favorite spots around the City, I always look to try a new restaurant to broaden my menu.
