Keating Muething & Klekamp Expands Private Client Services Practice with Addition of Partner Peter M. Slater
Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) has added Peter M. Slater as a partner in the firm’s Private Client Services Group. Slater brings deep experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on sophisticated planning matters, further strengthening the firm's ability to serve clients with complex personal and business interests.

Slater partners closely with clients advising individuals, families, and closely held business owners on estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession and related income tax matters. He develops practical, tailored strategies that reflect each client’s values while protecting assets and supporting long-range goals. His practice includes estate, gift, and tax planning; charitable giving strategies; asset protection planning; and the orderly transition of wealth and property during life and after death. Known for taking the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances, he crafts solutions that address immediate needs and anticipate those of future generations.
Prior to joining KMK Law, Slater was a partner with Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP for five years and a partner with Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP for nearly 20 years. Slater earned his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1993 and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University Law School in 1992. Slater is licensed to practice law in Ohio and New York.
