Keating Muething & Klekamp Hires Two New Associates
The Cincinnati law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) is proud to welcome two new associates: Kristopher T. Milner and Carlos A. Schemmel.
Kristopher T. (Kris) Milner practices in the firm’s Real Estate and Environmental Groups where he represents public and private companies and municipalities to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Prior to joining KMK Law, Milner served as a civil and mining engineering consultant and most recently was an area environmental manager in the mining and manufacturing industries. With over a decade of experience in these roles, Milner was responsible for ensuring facility compliance with state and federal environmental standards, including, but not limited to, laws set forth by the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act, due diligence activities, and counseling others through permitting processes. Milner earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2022. He earned his B.S. from the University of Kentucky in 2010. Milner is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
Carlos A. Schemmel is a member of the firm's Business Representation & Transactions Group, where he assists private and publicly held companies with a wide range of corporate transactions and governance matters. Schemmel earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2022. During law school, Schemmel served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael R. Barrett of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and participated in the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic as a student advisor for startup businesses. Schemmel earned his B.A. from Miami University in 2019. Schemmel is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
