Keating Muething & Klekamp Partner Sarah Vonderbrink Geiger Appointed Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair of Local Federal Bar Association Chapter

The Cincinnati law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) is pleased to announce that Sarah Vonderbrink Geiger, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Group, was recently appointed co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Federal Bar Association’s Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky-John W. Peck Chapter. Geiger has served as a member of the Gender Equity Task Force of the Federal Bar Association since 2018.

“The Federal Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee was previously the Gender Equity Task Force and the mission was to bring attention to gender equity issues,” said Geiger. “This year, the group is being rebranded as the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, with a mission of bringing attention to issues that face diverse attorneys, including women, and to encourage women and diverse attorneys to remain not only in the practice of law, but in litigation specifically.”

Geiger serves as a member of the KMK Law Women’s Initiative Committee that was established to encourage and support a culture to further promote equality in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women attorneys. Geiger is a champion of community causes and actively participates in many organizations. In 2021, Geiger was recognized as a PLEDGE honoree by the John W. Peck Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Geiger has successfully represented a wide variety of business clients, including financial institutions and regional and national corporations. Her practice is concentrated in the area of litigation, with a focus on general civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, and personal injury/medical malpractice/wrongful death litigation. She has represented clients in a wide variety of litigation and business disputes, including class actions, collective actions, toxic tort litigation, multidistrict litigation, arbitrations, mediations, actions for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and other business tort claims.
