2023 Law Student Diversity Case Competition

January 13 & 14, 2023

In partnership with the University of Cincinnati College of Law's Center for Professional Development, Keating Muething and Klekamp invites first-year law students from underrepresented racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds to participate in the Fifth Annual Law Student Diversity Case Competition to be held at KMK Law on January 13 & 14, 2023.

Competitors will benefit from speakers, networking, and team presentations judged by KMK partners, clients, and community leaders.

Who is eligible to participate?

First-year law students from underrepresented racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Registration:

To register each team member must individually submit their resume and the attached registration form which includes a section to list their teammate. Registration must be submitted to Kate Christoff, Director of Legal Talent and Diversity, at casecomp@kmklaw.com by December 1, 2022.

Key Dates:

Application Deadline: 12.1.2022
Hotel Reservation Deadline: 12.13.2022
Competition Dates: 1.13 & 1.14. 2023

Team Prizes:

1st Place - $3,000
2nd Place - $2,000
3rd Place - $1,000

In addition, all winners will receive a gift certificate from BARBRI for $250 off the Guided Pass Bar Review Tuition.

Accommodations:

KMK has secured a block of rooms at the rate of $119 USD per night at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza: 35 West Fifth Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Call 1.800.445.8667 for assistance. Last day to book is December 13, 2022.
