As part of Northern Kentucky University's virtual workshop series, KMK Law & Ascend Technologies went behind-the-scenes as a hacker took over a real company. Participants witnessed how the bad guys think, their methodology, the tools they use, and how easy it can be to gain access. Then they addressed the legal and practical issues surrounding a cyber event and discussed what the triggers are for legal and reporting obligations.
