Biography
Luke Shaffer practices in the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions Group, providing counsel to clients on matters including early-stage corporate formation and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt financings.
Luke’s work spans the entire corporate life cycle including pre-incorporation planning, corporate restructuring, general corporate matters, venture capital financings, strategic acquisitions and successful M&A exits. Luke leverages his experience drafting and negotiating complex corporate and transactional documents to provide clients with practical and solutions oriented representation.
Prior to joining KMK Law, Luke practiced in Columbus, Ohio where he advised privately-held businesses on restructuring and insolvency related matters. Luke is a graduate of the Columbus Bar Association’s Barrister Leadership Program and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Business Law Journal during law school.
