Biography
Jill Weller has more than 30 years of experience counseling clients on a wide variety of issues under federal and state environmental law. She is a trusted advisor who regularly provides practical solutions to environmental issues raised in the context of corporate and real estate transactions.
She has extensive experience counseling and defending clients on matters such as voluntary and "Brownfields" cleanups; CERCLA administrative and cost recovery actions; compliance counseling for hazardous waste, wastewater discharge and other environmental regulations; defense of environmental enforcement actions and citizen suits; administrative and judicial review of permits and other agency actions.
From 1981 to 1985, Jill was an attorney with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of General Counsel, in Washington D.C. Prior to joining Keating Muething & Klekamp, Jill was a partner at Thompson Hine in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jill was recognized in the 2020 edition of The Best Lawyers in America© as "Cincinnati Best Lawyers' Environmental Law Lawyer of the Year", a designation that is presented annually to a single attorney in each practice area and metropolitan area.
