Kenneth P. Kreider

Ken helps business clients structure and close major transactions involving the acquisition, development, finance or disposition of real estate.  His diverse experience with tenant in common syndications, complex IRC 1031 transactions, real estate taxation, building and preservation code matters, and rail/utility rights of way is instrumental in achieving superior results in a variety of client transactions.  He leads the KMK Green Team which focuses on sustainable building practices, related incentives, and climate change issues.  Ken was named a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is certified as a specialist in Business, Commercial and Industrial Real Property Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.  He is a licensed title insurance agent and serves as Executive Vice President, Chairman of the Board, and Agent for Riverbend Commercial Title Agency, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KMK.

• Acting as Ohio transactional counsel in all development projects for a large multinational retail chain
• Representing a national industrial services company in all of its facility, acquisition, leasing and disposition activity across North America
• Acting as local development counsel on a large neighborhood housing redevelopment under the HUD HOPE VI Program
• Advise legacy companies on disposition of former railroad right of ways throughout the Midwest
• Assisting a national developer in the land acquisition, financing and development of sports clubs, hospitality facilities and hotels throughout the eastern United States
• Representing a manufacturer in a building code dispute before the Ohio Board of Building Appeals
