Biography
Emma Compton practices in the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions and Real Estate Groups, where she helps clients with general commercial real estate matters and assists private and publicly held companies with a wide variety of corporate transactions.
Emma earned her law degree from the University of Dayton Law School, magna cum laude, in 2020, and was a member of the University of Dayton Law Review where she served as a Staff Writer and as a member of the Editorial Board as Outside Articles Editor. She received the Dean Francis J. Conte Award for Excellence and Dedication to the University of Dayton Law Review for her article, "Bet on It: Making the Case for Regulating Sports Wagering in Ohio."
While in law school, Emma gained experience as a Summer Associate at KMK Law, Legal Extern for the Honorable Judge Walter H. Rice, and Legal Intern at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. Prior to law school, she worked with the University of Cincinnati Athletic Department as a Compliance Intern.
She earned her B.A. in Sports Administration from The University of Cincinnati, summa cum laude, in 2017, and is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
