FLSA Overtime Rules Update and Seminar
As anticipated, the Department of Labor’s final overtime rules were issued today, May 18. The new salary test is $47,476 per year or $913 per week. The rules will take effect December 1, 2016. These new regulations will impact all companies with salaried employees who earn less than $47,476 annually.
KMK is offering training sessions to help our clients develop effective strategies to implement the new rules. Please join us on either May 26, 2016, at 8:00 a.m. or June 1, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. for an hour-long seminar to review the new rules and discuss best practices.
