Biography

As an attorney in the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions Group, Shannon Lawson assists clients with all aspects of their commercial financing and equipment leasing needs. Shannon has successfully negotiated and structured numerous transactions—and has become the go-to source for clients when it comes to solving their complex legal issues within finance and leasing.

Shannon’s services include commercial finance, equipment leasing, and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience with secured transactions, asset-based loans, syndicated credit facilities, equipment financing, law firm financing and third-party legal opinions.

Prior to law school, Shannon worked several years as an internal auditor for Ashland Inc., where he led an array of financial and operational audits. He also worked as an internal auditor for E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., a Fortune 100 company, and was a Corporate Accountant at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, now a part of Pfizer.
