Keating Muething & Klekamp Donates More Than $25,000 to Hurricane Katrina Victims
Keating Muething & Klekamp (KMK) employees raised $12,535 to go toward the relief efforts of Hurricane Katrina. KMK matched those donations dollar-for-dollar for a total donation of $25,070.
There are many ongoing relief efforts, some of which KMK personnel have been directly involved with. The KMK matching funds will go to several Hurricane Relief Efforts. Those Relief efforts include: financial assistance to ship goods to a shelter in Mississippi, The Baton Rouge Foundation which is helping displaced families, The American Red Cross and The United Way of Natchez.
“We felt the need to be part of the relief effort and support the families who are dealing with this horrible tragedy”, said Paul V. Muething, Managing Partner. “I am so proud of our employees for their willingness to help. Their generosity was overwhelming and will help to aid recovery and cleanup efforts for many victims.”
