KMK Attorney James A. Singler Elected to Multiple Sclerosis Society Board of Trustees

James A. Singler, an attorney in the Private Client Group at Keating Muething & Klekamp (KMK), was recently elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society ( NMSS) for the Ohio Valley Chapter.

The mission of the NMSS is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS) through delivery of programs and services to people with MS and their families. The Board of Trustees is responsible for guiding and developing resources to ensure that the Chapter is headed in the right direction.

“A dear friend was recently diagnosed with MS,” said James A. Singler. “I am excited to be a part of the NMSS to help further the organization’s mission.”

Mr. Singler earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, Valedictorian (2005) and his B.A. from Rollins College, magna cum laude (2002). He has experience in the areas of estate planning, real estate, corporate law, probate and trust administration, taxation, adoption matters, formation and on-going representation of private foundations, public charities, and other non-profits. He also has experience counseling clients on wealth transfer, business succession planning, business planning, entity selection for new and existing businesses, and preparation of corporate organizational documents.

In addition, Mr. Singler serves as General Counsel for the Indian Hill Club, the Mt. Adams Hillside House Condominium Association, Little Sisters of the Poor and patients of The Heartland Homecare Hospice. He is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, Family Service of Greater Cincinnati, a Member of Give Back Cincinnati, Mariemont Kiwanis, and the Mt. Adams Civic Association. He serves on the Admission Committee Network for Rollins College and is the founding Member and President of the Mariemont High School Alumni Association.
