Keating Muething & Klekamp Welcomes Real Estate Attorney James E. Parsons

Jim ParsonsThe Cincinnati law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) welcomes attorney James E. (Jim) Parsons as Of Counsel with the firm’s Real Estate Group.

Parsons focuses his practice in the areas of public law, public finance and tax incentives for business development, including tax increment financing for development projects. Parsons serves as chair of business advocacy and vice chair of governmental affairs for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he served as the Assistant City Solicitor, City Solicitor and City Manager for the City of Newport, Kentucky, and he was very involved in a number of developments in they city, including the Newport Aquarium and Newport on the Levee. Parsons also served for more than seven years as the Boone County Administrator and Deputy County Judge/Executive in Kentucky.

Prior to joining KMK Law, Parsons was Of Counsel in the Northern Kentucky office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Parsons earned his J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University in 1980, and is B.A. from Northern Kentucky University in 1976.
