Tiffany M. Evans of Keating Muething & Klekamp To Receive the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Voice Award – 2016 Rising Star

Tiffany M. Evans, an attorney with Keating Muething & Klekamp (KMK Law), has been selected to receive the Voice Award – 2016 Rising Star from the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Committee. The Voice Award is presented to a female Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) member, under age 40, for exemplary service. Through her distinguished service, the honoree has made significant contributions to the legal/general community and reflects the highest principles of the legal profession. The award will be presented to Evans on April 8, 2016, at the CBA Women’s Lawyers Committee Seminar.  

Evans joined KMK Law’s Private Client Services Group in 2013. She focuses her practice as a Guardian ad Litem in Hamilton, Warren, and Clermont Counties for children involved in the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court. In addition, Evans has experience representing clients in various domestic relations matters, including dissolution of marriage and divorce, prenuptial agreements, and post-divorce proceedings. She has significant experience handling complex child custody and child-related matters, and she is a trained Collaborative Law attorney.

Evans is involved with various CBA committees, including the Domestic Relations Committee, Juvenile Law Committee, Young Lawyers Section, Lawyers for the Arts, Women Lawyers, and the Estate Planning & Probate Committee. She is an executive committee member of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals and a member of the 2015 Leadership Class of the National MS Society. She coached the Sycamore High School team in the Ohio Supreme Court’s Mock Trial Competition and is involved in Leadership Scholars, a program dedicated to supporting troubled youth and mentoring them through high school. She raised substantial funds for Kentucky’s Children’s Law Center as a “Star” in their “Dancing with the Stars” charity event last year.

Prior to joining KMK Law, Evans was an associate at Mayerson Abramowitz & Kahn, LLP in New York City and at Blank Rome’s Manhattan office. She previously served as a child advocacy attorney at the Children’s Law Center in the Bronx, New York, where she represented abused children in custody, visitation, and abuse and neglect cases. While in law school, Evans served as an intern for then-Senator Mike DeWine at the Judiciary Committee in Washington, D.C. and at the Brooklyn, New York Public Defenders Office.  

Evans earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2007, and her B.A. from the University of Virginia in 2000.
