KMK Attorney Michael L. Scheier Appointed as Co-Chair of Firm's Litigation Practice Group

Michael L. Scheier, a Partner at Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK), was recently appointed as Co-Chairman of the Litigation Practice Group.

Mr. Scheier’s practice is concentrated in the areas of complex banking and creditor’s rights disputes, bankruptcy related litigation, and mass tort bankruptcy proceedings. He has extensive experience representing financial institutions in a wide range of matters including banking fraud, lender liability, UCC Article 3 and 4 litigation, insolvency litigation, and general enforcement of creditors’ rights. He regularly appears in federal and state trial and appellate courts around the country. He is a current member of the firm''s diversity committee and a former member of the hiring committee. He received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Order of the Coif, Editor-in-Chief of Law Review (1991) and his B.A. from Hobart College (1983).
