KMK Partner Gregory M. Utter Inducted as Fellow to Litigation Counsel of America

Gregory M. Utter, a partner in the Litigation Group at Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL, was inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) at the LCA’s Spring Conference and Inductions of Fellows held in Monterey, California, May 6 and May 7, 2010.

The LCA is an honorary trial lawyer society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon superior ethical reputation as well as excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels.

Gregory Utter’s practice is concentrated in the areas of class action, multi-district litigation, complex commercial litigation, and personal injury. He has significant trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Utter has successfully represented defendants and plaintiffs in litigation and has obtained verdicts and settlements in both commercial and personal injury related litigation, including serving as lead counsel in several class action lawsuits.

Utter is admitted to practice in Ohio, and he has been admitted pro hac vice to federal and state courts in large litigation cases in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.  Utter is an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.  He served as former president and member of the board of directors for the Southwestern Ohio Council on Child Abuse.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Keating Muething & Klekamp.
