KMK Partner Bill Keating, Jr. to be Honored at Friars Club 37th Annual Dinner
Bill Keating, Jr., a partner with the Corporate Law Group at Keating Muething & Klekamp (KMK®), will be honored at the Friars Club 37th Annual Dinner on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
Since 1860, the Cincinnati Friars Club has been serving the special needs of Cincinnati’s at-risk children through organized sports, educational and enrichment programs to help them develop personal goals and achieve successful lives.
Keating has been active in numerous academic and athletic programs in Greater Cincinnati for more than 30 years. Keating has supported the Friars Club philosophy of positive interaction and diversity. His children have played basketball for the Friars Club, and he has sponsored Friars Club players and teams over the years. In addition, Keating has donated sporting event tickets, allowing Friars Club boys and girls the opportunity to attend higher level athletics. Keating currently is working with the Friars Club to support the expansion of the girls’ athletics program to bring it to a level that is more comparable to the boys’ program.
“Bill is a very positive and caring individual,” said Ms. Annie Timmons, Vice President of Operations for the Friars Club. “He appreciated the positive experience of having his own children involved in a sports program with a diverse economic mission and has continued to promote us and that philosophy. We honor individuals like Bill Keating who unselfishly help others.”
