Nicholas L. Simon


Nicholas Simon helps companies, financial institutions, investors, and entrepreneurs negotiate and execute a broad range of transactions by providing prompt and practical advice and focusing on the client’s business objectives. Nick’s experience includes advising companies, investors, and private equity funds in mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, equity financings, and commercial contracts, from large public and private company acquisitions to smaller non-controlling investments and asset divestitures. Nick has also advised borrowers and lenders in a variety of debt financing transactions, including acquisition financings, secured and unsecured term and revolving credit facilities, securitized credit facilities, and equipment leases. Nick advises companies of all sizes, from Fortune 100 public companies to early stage growth companies.

Prior to joining KMK Law, Nick was an Associate at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. where he advised clients on a range of corporate and finance transactions. Following law school, Nick served as a law clerk to the Hon. Karen K. Caldwell of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Nick Simon is a member of the Bars of New York and the District of Columbia.  Mr. Simon’s Ohio bar application is pending, but he is not admitted to practice law in Ohio and is supervised by attorneys licensed to practice law in Ohio.
